Halloween Fun!

Even with a fever and weezing cough Matthew was right in on the action!
Matthew was SOOOO adorable. Once he got the hang of what was going in his pumkin he wanted to hold it and walk up to the door, then run after the boys. He was carried a bit or held my hand. He went to way over 20 houses and filled his pumpkin! He loved it! Next year will be a blast.
This statue of a dog had Matthew a bit confused and Alex thought it was great!
Anakin Skywalker and Batman
Our three trick or treaters

RJ was SOOOO concerned about Matthew keeping up and getting enough candy. He would ask for candy for his brother and some people were not too sure if he was just trying to get more candy because we were lagging behind.

I have this same exact picture about 5 years ago of RJ and I.

There was an amazing rainbow that went across the whole sky and it turned into a double rainbow.

What a beautiful sky after the rain!

It was raining at first but after our street it stopped!

Batman! What a cutie!

Matthew's second word! He can say Hi and now Uh Oh! Maybe his fall off the truck prompted this word! I taped him before this take many times so I think finally in this clip he just kept on saying it over and over to satisfy me! :-)

Matthew's favorite late night thing to do... run around in big circles. What a happy little guy he is!

Our trip to Moelker Farms

Today we went to Moelker Family Farms which was a new find just the next exit over from Jenison. It was a lot of fun for the boys however, I am now dealing with an itchy nose and sore throat from my reaction to all the animals we were around. It was worth it though to see the boys at the petting zoo, hold the kittens found near the barn and watch the incredible horses that pulled our wagon. It was the 100th anniversary of the farm so there was free cake, coffee, wagon rides, a petting zoo, decorating little pumpkins and a litter of new kittens. The sun was shining. The air was a little crisp but it made it feel like Fall.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

The apple of our eye :-)
Me and my boys. Too bad our heads are cut off....

This is very heavy!
I am so proud that I picked it up!

There were kittens in a barn!

A Beautiful Day in October!

The end of a great day!
Hey this hole is fun!

Buddies!
The end of our walk across the ridge brought us out to the beach but then we walked back up the hill because the boys didn't want to have it end so we walked through the woods and ended up back at the parking lot.

Walking through the woods at Kirk park

We didn't realize that if we went to the left there was a GREAT nature walk across the ridge of the Dunes. Another look out....

The boys before walking up to the lookout.

My brother's body disappeared!

Hey this is fun dumping sand on RJ's head. He can't do anything about it!
